Breathe & Relax
Breathwork and meditation deepens relaxation, improved mood, and soothed physical illness.
Breathing is something we constantly do, often without paying any attention to it. Breathwork involves consciously and mindfully changing our breathing patterns to improve relaxation. Coupled with meditation, which calms the mind, we can help soothe our nervous system.
There are many reported benefits of breathwork and meditation, from reducing stress and anxiety to improving sleep and mood. It may also help with the symptoms of certain physical illnesses.

Creative Nature Therapy
Our workshop, “Track of Life: Mapping Self-Awareness and Empathy with Youth Befrienders,” offered participants a journey into self-awareness and empathy. Through group discussions and collaborative activities, participants were introduced to the concept of constructing a secure space using natural materials, fostering an atmosphere conducive to personal growth and understanding.
Co-facilitation training and role play: Participants assumed diverse roles, including Facilitator, Observer, and Participants, gaining invaluable insights into effective communication and interpersonal dynamics.

These deliberative sessions served as a valuable means to collect findings and insights. The information garnered became the bedrock upon which we crafted and programmed a series of purposeful events, tailored to cater to the distinct needs of our residents.
We transcended mere surface observations, delving into the intricacies of the daily experiences and challenges residents confront on a routine basis with regard to their mental wellbeing.

In our ongoing commitment to fostering mental wellness among young individuals, we have collaborated with Zhenghua Youth Network to initiate a programme aimed at training our local youth befrienders from West Spring and Zhenghua Secondary Schools. This training encompassed nature-led conversations and activities as effective tools for promoting mental wellbeing.

Breaking the silence and paving the way for fathers’ mental well-being support.
Today’s fathers are redefining their roles, moving beyond just being providers to becoming active agents in their children’s lives.
This session created a safe space for authentic sharing from fathers in the community and a platform for connecting with other fathers who share similar challenges, breaking down barriers and stigmas.

Mandala Icing Cookie Workshop
Pastel Nagomi
Participants immersed themselves in the therapeutic world of Pastel Nagomi Art, a gentle and mindful art form originating from Japan. The workshop was designed to provide them with a serene space to explore their creativity and enhance their mental wellbeing. Guided by experienced instructors, participants learnt the art of Nagomi, focusing on soft pastels and soothing techniques that promoted relaxation and inner calm. The colours guided them toward inner peace and creative fulfillment.
Sunrise Yoga
Welcomed the day with tranquility through “Sunrise Yoga & Conversations on Mental Wellbeing.” Participants joined us for a revitalising experience as the sun painted the sky with warm hues. This unique session not only fostered physical wellbeing but also opened a space for meaningful conversations about mental wellbeing.
Designed to encourage long-term practice, the yoga routine provided easy movements that could be seamlessly incorporated into daily routines at home, promoting independent wellbeing. Embraced the dawn with a blend of gentle yoga, mindful conversations, and the promise of brighter, more balanced days ahead.
